James Bach

James Bach is the CEO and Principal Consultant at Satisfice, Inc. and a Technical Fellow at Tricentis. Contrarian son of author Richard Bach, James has been in the tech field as developer, tester, test manager, and consultant for 39 years. His focus is innovating and teaching in the odd little world of professional software testing. He is a founder of the Context-Driven school of testing, a charter member of the Association for Software Testing, the creator of Rapid Software Testing methodology and Session-based Test Management. He is also the author of two books: Lessons Learned in Software Testing and Secrets of a Buccaneer-Scholar: How Self-Education and the Pursuit of Passion Can Lead to a Lifetime of Success.
