Deanna Mulligan is the board chair and former CEO of The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, one of the largest mutual life insurers in the U.S. She led the company through a period of technological modernization and customer-focused transformation. Mulligan is an advocate for workforce reskilling and authored Hire Purpose, a book on preparing for the future of work. She has served on corporate and nonprofit boards and advised on economic policy related to employment and education.
