Susanna Heschel is the Eli M. Black Distinguished Professor and chair of the Jewish Studies Program at Dartmouth College. Her scholarship focuses on Jewish-Christian relations, modern Jewish thought, and interfaith dialogue. She has written extensively on figures such as Abraham Geiger and the interplay between religion and politics. Heschel frequently lectures internationally, addressing topics from antisemitism to theological ethics. She has been a visiting professor at universities across Europe and North America, and her work has influenced both academic discourse and public understanding of interreligious dynamics. In addition to her research, she engages in activism promoting tolerance and combating prejudice.
